Cooperation reached! CNIBF Organizing Committee visited the Shenzhen Office of KOTRA

On January 31st 2024, a delegation from the Zhenwei Battery Industry Exhibition Organizing Committee visited the Shenzhen Representative Office of the Korean Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, and received a warm reception from Director Jin and Manager Lin, who are responsible for China-South Korea exhibitions and trade fairs. KOTRA (Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency) is a non-profit trade promotion agency under the Korean government. KOTRA was founded in 1962 to promote economic and trade exchanges, corporate investment and trade cooperation between South Korea and overseas countries and regions. It is a bridge between the economies of various countries and South Korea's economy.

Since its establishment, the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency Shenzhen Office has been actively working to promote economic and trade cooperation between South Korea and Shenzhen, and to promote the growth of South Korean and Shenzhen enterprises into large international enterprises. During the negotiation process, Director Jin and Manager Lin focused on introducing the current development of new battery energy storage and other energy industries in South Korea as well as the specific matters of the 2024 South Korea Spring Trade Fair (related to environmental protection/new energy and other industries).

The organizing committee of Zhenwei International Battery Industry Exhibition summarized the relevant situation of cooperation with Zhenwei Battery Industry Exhibition in 2023, and introduced the overall development direction and new highlights of Zhenwei Shenzhen International Battery Industry Exhibition from April 24 to 26, 2024. At the same time The two parties actively communicated about the industry situation, conducted in-depth exchanges on industry development, hot topics, industry pain points, etc., and jointly discussed how to organize Chinese and Korean companies to participate in exhibitions, group procurement, trade conference forums, and online procurement demand matching to achieve cooperation.

This exchange not only promoted exchanges and cooperation between the exhibition and the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Corporation, but also injected new vitality and impetus into the development of the battery energy storage industry in Shenzhen, China and South Korea.

Both parties stated that they should take this exchange event as an opportunity to strengthen subsequent interactive exchanges between the two parties, explore new models of cooperative development, jointly create a communication platform for the battery energy storage industry, and promote high-quality development of the industry.
